Odourless and discreet, they keep you dry all day or all night, thanks to their super absorbency, for up to 12 hours.
Made in France from organic fabrics, washable and reusable, this 1st period underwear is a healthy and effective alternative to disposable protection.
Available in 2 sizes:
10-12 years: corresponds to a hip circumference of 77-80cm
12-14 years: corresponds to a hip circumference of 80-88cm
The natural composition of our Ma 1ère Culotte Menstruelle
Ma 1ère Culotte Menstruelle absorbs blood thanks to its 4 layers of fabric:
1. The first layer drains and neutralises odours.
Inner fabric: 100% organic cotton*.
2. The second layer absorbs blood.
Absorbent fabric: 80% Oeko-Tex tencel viscose 20% polyester.
3. The third is waterproof and keeps you dry.
Waterproof fabric: 100% polyester and polyurethane.
4. The last is comfortable and soft.
Outer fabric: 95% organic cotton 5% elastane.
This combination of technical textiles makes the pants effective yet slim and discreet.
Ma 1ère Culotte Menstruelle has been designed to respect the skin and the planet:
The cotton yarns are organic and GOTS certified. The dyes as well as the waterproof and absorbent fabrics are OEKO-TEX* certified.
The inner lining of the knickers is 100% cotton for extra softness and the outer fabric contains 5% elastane to adjust to your body shape.

The fabrics are assembled, cut, knitted and labelled in France.
*GOTS: global organic textile standard: GOTS certification is the most comprehensive and credible system for certifying textile products to consumers in terms of production that respects the principles of sustainable development. The obligations of the GOTS standard are of a high level.

Put them on in the morning and you’re dry for the day. You’ll feel comfortable and you’ll even forget you’re having your period.
We strongly recommend that you machine wash our period panties before using them.
For the first use, we recommend wearing the menstrual underwear at home to get used to it, to reassure yourself that the underwear is effective and to discover your flow.
To keep them as long as possible, after each use I simply rinse them in cold water to remove the blood retained in the absorbent layer. I can then put them in the washing machine with the rest of my clothes on delicate mode or at 30°C maximum. Be careful not to use fabric softener or stain remover.
I leave them to dry in the open air and don’t use a tumble dryer or radiator, as these damage the fibres and alter their effectiveness.

We recommend choosing your usual size. If in doubt, measure the hips loosely, i.e. the strongest point, often the buttocks.
